Eutectic Phase

This example demonstrates how to simulate the formation of the eutectic phase by using the diffuse phase model. Here, a two-dimensional simulation of equiaxed solidification of a Al-Si-Mg alloy is shown. One fcc-Al grain is placed in the 2D simulation region at the beginning. The eutectic (Si) phase is treated as a continuous phase mixture by activating unresolved option for generation of new Si grains.
